I've polished the silver some and it could be polished a bit more

I believe this likely is mid 20th century or so from the Northwest Territories/Nunavut

and appears to show remnants of white paint

I'd guess a school girl creation dating to the early 20th century or so

and think they make quite a handsome and happy couple

Feels to me almost akin to a Mapplethorpe photograph of a flower quite a suggestive, velvety red orchid like bloom looking poised to swallow that butterfly!
