Orvis Salmon 9' Bamboo Rod 7'3" Carbon fibre discs are madeFor sale here is an Orvis 9' 3 1 7 8wt impregnated bamboo salmon rod. Serial no. 13063. Made in 1952 by Cal Skinner and George Reid. The rod is in excellent condition though it does show some wear. The first guide up on the mid will need to be re wrapped or re varnished at some point. The upper wrap is beginning to crack. The rod features handsome, darkly tempered cane with chestnut wraps. Bright guides. The script remains clean and bold. Aluminum
