Hardy Perfect 2 1/2" Wide Drum 1896 Check Fly Reel 7'10" 2) Stationery/letterhead (later-era)For sale here is a good example of a 2 1 2" diameter Hardy Perfect with 1896 check. Aluminium face plate with rod in hand and straight line logos. Full length foot and strapped tension adjuster. This reel has no undue spool or spindle wear, i. e. is nice and tight. At some time the handle cup and check adjuster block have been enthusiastically polished, fortunately, being brass they will age in time.
