The prices were great too and I cant wait to go back and make the turn into the lot more often

That is always an opportunity to blow them out with a protection spell from hand

The Great Illuminary calls out to the players to ask them to become Illumineers because there is a new danger and threat to the stories of Lorcana, and all the previous Illumineers have mysteriously gone missing

I cracked a lot of packs chasing this card in vain, and I never expect to see one on the battlefield

Even the front cover text has foil details reminiscent of the foil cards

Unless I am missing something, this effect is a little lame unless you have some effect that benefits from it, and I have not come across it yet in these cards (something like 'whenever an opponent draws a card, they lose 1 life')
