Funnily enough, I had a quick look at the Cloudpost deck that made the Top 8 of the very first Modern Pro Tour in Philadelphia back in 2011, and the deck contained four cards that are now banned Cloudpost, Eye of Ugin, Green Suns Zenith and Punishing Fire
You then get to bring back a creature card with a mana value less than or equal to the amount of life you gained from the graveyard to the battlefield
So unless there is some pattern where similar cards appear to be rarer or more common, or the sample size is a lot larger, brute force wont deliver definitive answers (though it is still interesting of course)
