Unless I am missing something, this effect is a little lame unless you have some effect that benefits from it, and I have not come across it yet in these cards (something like 'whenever an opponent draws a card, they lose 1 life')
Thats not to say there arent going to be powerful cards, but it likely wont have the same impact on the format as Modern Horizons 2
It briefly spiked past $3,000 raw during the Prismatic Evolutions hype cycle, one of the most-watched modern Pokmon card price trends of the year
It still let you get a spell for a cheap cost or a creature with a spell-like effect for a higher cost
But in the meantime, if you face a player running one of these lists in the casual room, they are likely new to MTGO
