A noncreature enchantment with a +1/+1 counter on it will be unaffected by that counter until it becomes a creature, at which time it will get +1/+1 for that counter
Why is that, I hear you ask
Not only do the original printings of these cards not lose much, but most of the commander printings actually increase from their low starting price while they are in print
Fire Nation Palace Fire Nation Palace isnt as crazy as it seems on first read, but its still a great red land thats easy to slot into decks
In Living Energy, that might mean repeatedly searching out lands thanks to Solemn Simulacrum (a card that just didn't quite make the cut for this list), making Thopters with Pia and Kiran Nalaar, or tons of energy with Aethertide Whale
Just dont forget that much like his video game inspiration, Baxter doesnt always fly
