COUNT FIVE - Psychotic Reaction LP post-punk These killer post-punk rarities areFanclub repro. Unfairly maligned as one hit wonders, the Count Five actually managed to put together a pretty impressive full length. It covers pretty much all the bases of what was hip in '66, starting with the fuzz classic title cut, but there's also dollops of British Beat, nascent psychedelia, gritty blues and pop soul. Up there with MC5 and the Sonics they are one of those Garage Rock bands that provide a good foundation to ones collection.
